Sundays at Stanmore Chapel
We have now returned to meeting all together at one 10.30am gathering on a Sunday.
During the summer we offer unsupervised creche facilities as well as a Summer Sunday School program for primary school aged children.
We are ensuring the room is well ventilated and are asking people to continue wearing masks whilst indoors with us. Please also be considerate of others and stay away if you are feeling unwell.
We are aware that you may well not have been to church for a long time or maybe you've never been at all. Whatever your situation you are always welcome to join us. We promise that you will be given a warm welcome and that you won’t be asked to do anything.
There is no dress code and our services generally last just over an hour. After the service there is tea and coffee. Do stay for that, it's a great, relaxed time to say hello and meet others.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper as part of the morning service on the first Sunday of every month.
The aim of all our gatherings is that we might learn, encourage each other and grow together in our love of God and one another. The Bible is central in doing this. There are four main elements to our meetings: we sing (old and new hymns), we pray, and we listen to the Bible being read and taught and we spend time in fellowship with one another.
